ZNU 125 is released this morning. (Believe it or not, Odeo rejected the file as ‘invalid’ - go figure - and 4shared has just disappeared off the internet - so that leaves just Switchpod, which last week and the week before, gave me hell…)

One out of three is better than nothing, I s’pose…

In this show, I take a brief look at the email I received attacking my internet activities, the penchant of Mugabe’s to remove anything he can from the people - in this case, satellite dishes - whilst I also look at Mugabe’s threat to take his forces back to a war footing if he loses the election, in the light of another group of people stating that THEY will utilise whatever means it can to establish democracy.

I also look at the impounding of Tsvangirai’s buses and the arrest of MDC Secretary-General, Tendai Biti, for treason… And a look at the terror gripping the country at the hands of ZANU PF activists, and a brief look at the call to arms by Elliot Manyika - himself a ZANU PF MP, but the call is heeded by the militia - but not reacted to by the ZRP.

This episode can be listened to using the players in the right hand side bar of The Bearded Man blog.

Thanks for your continued support.

Take care.

ZNU 124 is released this morning. In this programme, I look at the potential that MDC Mutambara has to sway decisions in Parliament, and then a look at the events over the past week including the arrest of Mutambara, the double detention of Tsvangirai and the incident involving British and US diplomats at a roadblock. And I also have a quick look at the returnees from RSA being abandoned in Masvingo.

You are able to hear the programme in the multiplayers in the right hand side bar of The Bearded Man blog, here or even downloaded here.

Thank you for your continued support.

Take care.

ZNU 123 released. I have been unable to upload the file to Odeo for an unknown reason (reports that it is an ‘invalid file’), but it is available on Switchpod and 4shared… and in the multiplayers on The Bearded Man blog…

This programme looks at the next chapter in the Makoni question, the continued violence in Zimbabwe. Amazing (Dis)Grace’s announcement that Bob ain’t goin’ nowhere, whilst I also look at Mugabe’s order to have his picture in churches, and the apparent dereliction of duty by the Commissioner-General of the ZRP, Augustine Chihuri.

Thank you for your continuing support of ZNU.

ZNU 122 released. In today’s programme I look at apparent call to arms by Mugabe, a warning that the country is teetering on the edge of civil war, the return to the ZANU PF fold of Dumiso Dabengwa, the brutal killing of a heavily pregnant MDC supporter, the threat of war by the army and the realigning of new ranks in the ZRP.

You can hear the programme using the multiplayer in the right hand sidebar of The Bearded Man blog. The programme is also available for download, should you wish, from here.

I noted yesterday afternoon, that the internet response was terribly slow. So if the programmes take a while to begin to play - sorry!

As usual, all historical programmes are available to play from my Odeo page, should you so wish.

ZNU 121 released. In this programme I look at the ‘extension’ to 90 days of the 21 day rule for the second round of the Presidential election - the forced postal ballots of policemen, their spouses and dependents, the release by the RBZ of the 250 and 500 million dollar bearer cheques (including the advent of the agro-cheque), and the diplomatic hoo-haa caused by the ZRP when they stopped a party of diplomats who were returning from a detention camp and a hospital where they had visited injured MDC members who had been beaten…

The programme can be heard using the multiplayers in the right hand sidebar on The Bearded Man blog, here or even played and/or downloaded here.

All historical programmes can be played as required from my Odeo page.

I do appreciate your continued support in my audio adventures…

ZNU 118 is released. As you will no doubt hear, I am absolutely exhausted - mainly because I am fighting with a problem in my injured arm. I have not been sleeping very well, but will continue in my quest for the Zimbabwean people. This would be as good as any point to advise you all thatthere will not be a posting on Wednesday this week as I have an appointment with the Specialist to work out just what has gone wrong in my arm and what steps we are going to take to sort it all out.

In today’s podcast I look at the UN and AU Charters with the Zimbabwean crisis in mind, whilst the MDC offices in Harare are raided by armed policemen and hundreds arrested, the death toll in the post-election violence continues to rise, whilst the MDC majority in Parliament is confirmed in the recount.

We still await the Presidential election result.

The programme can be heard in the multiplayers in the right hand sidebar of The Bearded Man or here and can be either downloaded or played from here.

My historical podcasts (all 118) can be heard anytime from my Odeo page.

Thank you for your continued support of my weekly podcasts.

ZNU 117 released. In today’s programme I look at the presence of a Chinese ship loaded with weapons for Mugabe in Durban harbour, moving on to Maputu in Mozambique - or elsewhere. I also look at the recount that started on Saturday morning, and the violence being meted out on the MDC supporters. And I question why SADC has given Mbeki another mandate to mediate in negotiations once again - when he is incapable of an impartial view. The show can be heard in the multiplayers in the right hand side bar of The Bearded Man blog. It can also be heard here or even downloaded from here.

All of my previous programmes are available for playing on my Odeo page.

Thank you for your continuing support of my podcast endeavours.
